Applied Physics Ph.D. Candidate, Harvard University

Salma has loved coding since she was a little girl. During the pandemic, she shared her passion by teaching more than 300 children how to code. While studying Physics at Stanford, she became fascinated by the intersection of physics research and computer science. Now an Applied Physics Ph.D. student at Harvard, Salma researches the connections between physics and computation. Inspired by the impact of early STEM exposure in her own life, she co-founded Wee STEM to create hands-on learning experiences for children in the Boston area.
